Every  Life  Matters

Orphan's Fare

Two year old Jun Ting is not really hungry. I asked her to look sad for the picture and she is the perfect little actress. She has had major heart surgery, but is drop dead gorgeous and now thriving in Eagles’ Wings Three. But as the number of children that we have taken under our wing (Eagles’ Wings) grows, we have to keep them totally, not just keep their bowls full. If you would like to feed one of our children for two weeks, please come and join us in a meal just like we feed to the abandoned children in our care. You can have as much as you like of corn and egg soup, rice topped with stir fry and jasmine tea. Our small children use spoons, so don’t worry if you can’t use chopsticks. A famous book I read over and over tells me that unless we become like little children, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. So become like our children..... and get a taste of heaven.

When? April 11 @ 6:00pm

Where? Gympie Civic Centre

What?

Quality goods will be for sale during the evening. A silent auction will take place during the evening.
After the meal, a genuine auction will take place.

Goods to be auctioned include:

A data projector worth $20 000.00 donated by Hoopers’ Sound Centre;

A gold watch donated by Prouds the Jeweller;

A signed print of Mooloolabah beach by David Hart (son of Pro). This print is quite valuable.

A lovely framed painting done by one of our orphans. Wang Hong Yan is now 13, but her story is amazing.
Come along and hear how her life has been changed by love and apart from
being an award winning artist, she wants to study to be a doctor.

There will be several door prizes, including a pass for an adult and a child
from Australia Zoo and a signed photo of the Irwin family.

I am sending this invitation to all our COAT Family and Friends all over the world.
Firstly, I thought you might like to know what we are doing to try to keep the bowls full and secondly,
I thought you might like to be there in spirit and still buy a ticket
by adding a little extra to April’s monies can come into COAT’s account.

RSVP: April 4. Just email me at admin@coat.org.au to let me know.
